About this policy

Velykodnyi Oleksii, based in Dnipro, Ukraine, provides Viondo under the name Viondo App and is responsible for the processing of personal data described in this policy. This policy explains how we handle information when you use our iPhone media player, connect your own media sources, share your screen, visit our website or contact support.

Visiting this website

We use Google Firebase Hosting to deliver this website. When you visit, the hosting provider processes connection information such as your IP address and request details to deliver and secure the site. This version of the website does not include analytics scripts, advertising, contact forms or embedded third-party media, and does not set application cookies. App analytics, described below, are separate from this website.

See Firebase privacy information and Google’s Privacy Policy.

Information on your device

Viondo stores your source configuration, media catalog, favorites, playback positions and app preferences on your device. The library document is encrypted and its key is held in iOS Keychain. Server access tokens and supported provider credentials are stored in Keychain. Imported videos are copied into app storage; the original files remain yours. Device backups may include app data according to your Apple settings. Viondo does not operate a cloud library service. The library encryption described here does not separately encrypt imported video files.

Your media sources

Viondo connects to the providers and servers you choose to retrieve playlists, artwork and media. Those services receive connection information, such as your IP address, requested content and credentials needed for access, under their own privacy policies. When you connect Plex, its sign-in service also processes your authorization. Use sources you trust and secure connections where available. Viondo does not send your media library or provider credentials to a Viondo server.

Screen mirroring and external playback

Screen mirroring begins only after your confirmation in the iOS broadcast interface. It can share on-screen content, notifications and app audio with your chosen compatible display. Microphone capture is off. Viondo temporarily buffers the broadcast in memory to deliver it through a local connection; it does not save a screen-recording file or upload the recording to a Viondo server. Stop sharing with the in-app Stop button or the system broadcast control. Protected content may be hidden by iOS. The receiving device may have its own privacy practices.

Permissions

Viondo uses the iOS Photos and file pickers to access items you select for import. Screen broadcasting requires separate system confirmation. You can manage relevant permissions in iOS Settings. Viondo does not require microphone access for screen mirroring. iOS may request local-network access when you connect to a media server on your network.

Purchases

Apple processes App Store payments. Viondo uses verified StoreKit transaction information, including the product and subscription period, to show and restore access on your device. Viondo does not receive your payment card details. Apple handles your purchase information under its privacy policy.

Support messages

If you contact support@viondo.app, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond to your request and resolve the issue. Our email provider processes these messages to deliver the service. We retain support messages only as needed for the request and applicable obligations. You can ask us to delete your support correspondence. Do not include passwords, private source URLs or unnecessary sensitive information.

Analytics and sharing

Viondo uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand app usage and improve the player. It records app launches, sessions, device and operating-system information, approximate region, app-instance identifiers, purchase events and app actions such as opening the Pro offer or finishing a first video. Advertising identifiers and ad personalization are disabled; Viondo does not track you across other apps or websites or sell your personal information. Analytics does not receive your videos, screen recordings, media titles, source URLs, server credentials or support messages. Google processes analytics under its privacy policy. Apple may process system diagnostics and App Store information according to your settings. Analytics is enabled automatically in the current app version; it does not currently offer an in-app analytics switch. App-instance identifiers are pseudonymous, not anonymous. Contact us with questions about analytics data and applicable privacy rights.

Your choices and deletion

Remove a source to delete its saved catalog entries, favorites and history in Viondo. Remove an imported video to delete the app’s copy without deleting the original in Photos or Files. Removing Viondo deletes its local app storage; backup copies and Keychain data may be governed by your Apple settings. Contact support@viondo.app about information you sent to us or to exercise applicable privacy rights.

Analytics retention

Our Google Analytics property is configured to retain event-level data for 2 months and user-level data for 14 months. Google also applies the user-data retention period to key-event data. Reset on new activity is enabled: a new event from a user restarts the retention period for that user identifier, so ongoing activity can extend its retention. Expired data is removed through Google’s monthly deletion process. These settings do not limit the retention of standard aggregated reports.

See Google’s explanation of data retention.

Service providers and privacy requests

Our service providers include Google for app analytics and website hosting, Apple for App Store payments, and Apple iCloud Mail for support email. Processing may take place in countries other than yours. Applicable privacy rights may include access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and portability, and the right to contact your local data protection authority. Email us to make a request. We may need information to verify your request, and some records may need to be retained to meet legal obligations.

Children’s privacy

Viondo is a general-purpose media player and is not designed specifically for children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact support@viondo.app so we can review the request and take appropriate action. Parents and guardians should supervise access to media sources and purchases.

Policy updates

We may update this policy when our features or data practices change. We will publish the revised version here with an updated date and provide any additional notice required by applicable law.
